Welcome to the Office of International Affairs at JBNU

The Office of International Affairs’ mission is to facilitate global exchange at JBNU, including student and faculty mobility, through the establishment of MOUs and MOAs. Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) is committed to creating a globalized campus through the Vision 2020 project, aiming to be ranked among the World Top 100 Universities by improving education and research.

In line with our dedication to global engagement, JBNU actively participates in the Glocal University project, which seeks to attract international students and scholars to contribute to Korea's future and to link local schools, businesses, and governments with international partners. Through this initiative, we strive to foster a vibrant, inclusive community where diverse perspectives converge, propelling us towards global excellence.

JBNU has partnerships with over 400 academic institutions globally, providing students with diverse study abroad opportunities, including exchange programs. The OIA focuses on offering cultural and educational experiences to cultivate future global leaders and foster international cooperation.

To attract and retain excellent foreign students, the OIA provides scholarships and support programs. We are dedicated to enhancing JBNU's global prestige and helping our university to become a leading global campus.
